c) Locally Stored Data (No Server Transmission)

• LocalStorage: We use your browser's localStorage to save your in-game progress, XP points, streak, recently played games, and liked games. This data stays on your device only and is never transmitted to our servers.

d) Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect credit card numbers or financial data
• We do not collect health information
• We do not require registration or account creation
• We do not knowingly collect email addresses unless you contact us directly

ZenMagma is intended to be family-friendly and welcomes users of all ages, including children under 13. We are committed to protecting children's privacy.

• We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13
• We do not require registration or account creation from any user, including children
• Gameplay progress is stored locally on the child's device only
• Parents/guardians can clear all locally stored data at any time by clearing browser localStorage

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to remove that information.

Note regarding advertising: Google AdSense for Child-Directed sites uses non-personalised ads where we have reason to believe the audience includes children. We flag our site accordingly where required.

💡 Quick tip: To delete all ZenMagma data from your browser, open your browser's developer tools, go to Application → Local Storage → clear all items starting with zm_.

⏳ 9. Data Retention

• LocalStorage data — Kept on your device until you clear it. ZenMagma does not control this.
• Contact form messages — Retained in our email inbox for up to 2 years, then deleted.
• Server logs — Typically retained by our hosting provider (Vercel) for up to 30 days.
• Analytics data — Aggregated, anonymised data may be retained indefinitely for performance analysis.

The security of your data is important to us. We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

ZenMagma is served over HTTPS (encrypted connection) to protect data in transit.
